Arizona Statutory Agent Requirements
Under A.R.S. § 29-3115, your statutory agent must:
- Have a physical Arizona street address — no P.O. box, and no Private Mailbox (PMB) or Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) address.
- An individual agent must be an Arizona resident at least 18 years old; entity eligibility is limited to the permitted domestic or authorized foreign corporation/LLC categories. Obtain acceptance.
- Not be the LLC itself — the company cannot appoint itself as its own statutory agent; it must name a member or manager individually, or a separate entity.
- Accept the role — the agent must sign a Statutory Agent Acceptance before appointment is complete.
