What a Nevada Registered Agent Does
The registered agent receives service of process and official documents. Maintain current service arrangements and separately track the Annual List + State Business License renewal. A reminder or provider promise does not transfer the LLC’s filing responsibility.

Renewal planning: track the Annual List + State Business License deadline and maintain a working agent appointment. Confirm any reminder service and forwarding scope in the actual contract.
Who Qualifies
A noncommercial individual or entity
Chapter 77 permits a noncommercial individual or entity and an office/position route. Check the appointment details, Nevada service address, receipt arrangements and acceptance. Do not use individual residency as a substitute for those requirements.
A registered commercial agent
Commercial-agent registration is distinct from general business qualification. Serving 10 or more represented entities triggers registration under NRS 77.320. Confirm current commercial registration and the Nevada service location before appointing the provider.

NRS77.280 lists $60 for a statement of change and §77.340 governs an entity’s change. Confirm the required acceptance, current form, submission route and any additional service charges.
